Spoligotype patterns evolve through the deletion of spacer sequences that cannot be recovered and have provided Dr Mark Tanaka with a rich source of data with which to understand the transmission of disease.

There is a discount for ordering more than 5 tests of a type. Both tests can be done from a single sample but charges for each test are separate.
