We advertise AusBiotech events as a means of connecting students to the big wide world of commercial biotechnology. Seminars, networking sessions and workshops are just a few of the many functions AusBiotech holds for students, to network and liase with people in the biotech proffession. Week 5
Careers night. The first careers night will have 4 guest speakers from companies with a strong focus on biotechnology, innovation, commercialisation and capitalisation 6pm-8pm, Tuesday, 22 August 2006 Central Lecture Block, Theatre 2 Register by emailing babesoc@unsw.edu.au.

Week 8
BABESOC, in conjunction with EISSOC will be hosting the 2006 Entrepeneurs in Science Society Inaguaral Ball on the 15th of September. Grab some of your friends, and hit the dance floor! The ball will be held at Star Room, Darling Harbour. Tickets are on sale now, $70 each. Please see Laurence Osen in GO5B to pay for tickets.

Week 12
The second careers night will involve professionals in the field giving us presentations.
