FAQs About Enrolment

How do I enrol?

All students must enrol each year for the full academic year. Students who fail to enrol in accordance with advertised procedures or who enrol after the nominated date will incur a fee penalty.

Please visit myUNSW for enrolment procedures.

What is myUNSW?

myUNSW is a central service for students to enrol and check current academic standings. There is no official help for this service and enrolment difficulties should be directed towards the BABS Student Office.

Can I transfer units from another institution?

Students may be granted credit for previous studies and attainment, thereby reducing the coursework required for completion of a degree. Advanced standing will be considered according to subjects completed and academic achievement.

What if I change my mind about enrolment? Can I defer enrolment?

Students who are offered a place in one of the programs in the School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences must accept the offer then apply for a deferment. Your place will be kept for you for up to 12 months.
