Awards for relocating students

We are offering competitive awards for students relocating to UNSW to undertake a research degree within BABS.

CATEGORIES OF AWARDS

Honours Relocation Award

Up to two awards (per Semester) of $1,500 each will be available to suitable applicants from Australian universities (other than UNSW) who enrol in a BSc (Hons).

Step 1: Peruse the available Honours projects here. Make contact with a potential supervisor to discuss their projects. You will need to have a supervisor's agreement to accept you as their student for your application to be successful.

Doctor of Philosophy Relocation Award

Up to two awards (per Semester) of $2,500 each will be available for suitable applicants from Australian universities (other than UNSW) who enrol in a PhD degree.

  • Guidelines for Admission to a PhD in BABS

Step 1: Review the entrance requirements and guidelines provided on the BABS Future Doctor of Philosophy Students page.

Step 2: Peruse the information on current research projects in BABS and the various research pages and academic staff directory on this website to identify a potential supervisor in the area of research that interests you. Make contact with a potential supervisor to discuss your proposed PhD research project.

You will need to have a supervisor's agreement to take you as a PhD candidate prior to lodging an application for admission to UNSW.
