Please report all OHS-related hazards or incidents to the Occupational Health Safety & Workers Compensation Unit.
1. STAY CALM and advise the following of the emergency:
- Security
- Your work colleagues
- Your supervisor
- Students
2. Dial Extension 56666
- If critical, call 000 for Fire, Police and/or Ambulance
- Tell UNSW Security your Name, Location (Building, Floor, Room Number) and what the Emergency is.
3. When leaving the building:
- Leave via the nearest safe EXIT (fire stairs)
- Follow directions of marshals or security staff
4. When leaving your building, assemble at the designated assembly area:
- The designated assembly area for Biological Sciences Building is In front of Chancellery Building near Clancy Auditorium.
- The designated assembly area for Samuels Building is the Lawn area outside Biological Sciences Building.
- In the event of both buildings evacuating simultaneously assemble In front of Chancellery Building near Clancy Auditorium.
- Find your lab or office group and establish if anyone is missing
- Inform marshals of any missing staff or students
- Listen for further instructions
