Ramaciotti Centre for Genomics
The Ramaciotti Centre was established in August 2000 as a focus for the development and application of functional genomics in New South Wales. The Centre is not-for-profit, and provides equipment and expertise to assist researchers in the use of microarrays, sequencing and high-throughput technology.
The Ramatciotti Centre is affiliated with a number of other universities and medical research centres in the Sydney region. These include the University of Sydney, Macquarie University, the University of Technology Sydney, The University of Newcastle, the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Kolling Institute. Representatives from each organisation sit on the Centre’s steering committee.
