· Stem cell marker identification for defining lineages, and isolation of monoclonal antibodies against stem cell marker
· The bioengineering of stem cell expansion
· Biomaterials and scaffolds for tissue engineering
· Identification of cytokines/growth factors that promote tissue regeneration
· The extra cellular matrix (ECM) and tissue regeneration
· The bioengineering of in vitro collagen production
· Specific application of proteomics in stem cell biology and tissue engineering
