Research Description:

Research interests include functional genomics and comparative genomics involving human subjects, rodent models and mammalian cell lines, with specific focus on cardiovascular diseases and related disorders. The lab has knowledge and experience in high throughput technology, molecular genetics, molecular biology and resources for bioinformatics. Current projects include: defining transcriptional homeostasis using mammalian cell lines and yeast deletion mutant models, premature ageing in cardiomycytes using rodent models, pathological hypertrophy in rodent models, and investigating regulons involved in cellular aging.
