Research Description:

1) The influence of chromatin structure on the control of gene expression; 2) The DNA sequence specificity of drugs used as cancer chemotherapeutic agents; 3) The development of more efficient anti-tumour agents based on cisplatin; 4) The use of gene chip microarrays to examine the effects of anti-tumours agents on gene expression; 5) The use of the human papillomavirus promoter to preferentially target gene therapy to cervical cancer cells.
