In 2015, the School ran an innovative video competition, known as BABSFest. BABS students and lab research associates were invited to submit a one to two minute video showcasing their research, and their experience as a student or staff member within BABS. The guidelines were that the video should be engaging, fun, informative, and easy-to-understand.
All the entries can be viewed YouTube.
There were some great entries, and - drumroll - the winners were:
Winner (research category):
Systems Biology Initiative
Finalist (research category):
Theoretical Biology in the Tanaka Lab
