During my years at UNSW I have developed strong links with a number of research groups within the School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences.
Though my work has now taken a different direction to that of the research that brought me to UNSW, I still maintain close associations with people in many different branches of biomedical and environmental microbiological research.
My previous research experience enables me to provide valuable advice and guidance with grant applications and experimental procedures. My current activities are predominantly undergraduate teaching, but my aim is to continue to publish. I will do this both through my scholarly approach to teaching and learning (such as the "Carrick" grant) , and my continued involvement with laboratory research.
